Then, a development occurred in the study system and its curricula in the summer of 1961, when specialized university committees developed study curricula equivalent to what was taught in engineering colleges at that time, in addition to educational subjects. The headquarters was moved to the current headquarters in Matariya. Then, its name was changed to the Higher Industrial Institute in the summer of 1965. In the summer of 1967, the study plan and curricula changed for new students only, and the Industrial Teachers College was established. The first batch was accepted in October 1967. The duration of study at the college is five years to grant a bachelor's degree in engineering in four basic programs, namely mechanical power engineering, automotive engineering, tractors, architecture and civil engineering, and two new credit hour programs have been added, the energy engineering program and the computer structural engineering program, and the Faculty of Engineering is located in Matareya in the eastern Ain Shams area, the intersection of Ibrahim Abdel Razek Street with the Higher Institute Industrial Street, and the faculty is located on an area of (11.31) acres with a total area of 47,500 square meters, and the college consists of 7 buildings Used for administrative and educational purposes on 4.61 acres with a total area of 19,371 square meters, as well as green spaces in the faculty of gardens and perennial trees on a total area of 4,317 square meters.
