Objectives of the unit :
The objectives of the Engineering Consulting, Training and Production Center at the Faculty of Engineering - Matareya - Helwan University are achieved through:
-Preparing engineering designs in all structural fields.
-Designing concrete and metal buildings of all kinds.
-Designing bridges and tunnels of all kinds.
-Designing various roads and airports.
-Designing water installations of all kinds.
-Studying soil properties through sensors and conducting all engineering tests.
-Issuing accredited certificates through the university for the safety of constructions.
-Supervision of all engineering works.
-Working planning, follow-up and project management programs.
-Laboratory tests in laboratories affiliated with the college, such as :
* Laboratory of material properties.
*Laboratory of soil and foundations.
* Irrigation and Hydraulics Laboratory.
* Roads Laboratory.
* Environmental Engineering Laboratory.
-Conducting field tests to ensure the efficiency and content of structural elements, spatial lifting works, soil mechanics, foundations and road works.
