Vision and mission
Library vision:
-To be a college library at the level of information facilities in all modern facilities and to be a model of organization and electronic documentation of all its vessels and a source of permanent and sustainable information service to the beneficiaries.
-To activate the university regulations and develop its resources of references and information and determine an annual addition rate or increased budgets to support the needs of the library through its own resources, which activates the role of sustainability of the use of available resources.
Library mission:
The mission of the library stems from being a specialized academic library to serve scientific research in a way that allows the benefit of students, researchers and faculty members and reach a concept that gives an opportunity for the scientific development that we seek and witness. By providing high-value collections as well as a set of services that meet the needs of researchers in line with the era of information and digitization, as well as building comfortable rooms for reading and study and providing appropriate equipment for these services, and enhancing the role of the library in raising the information awareness of its beneficiaries in all their categories, to link the assignment of research on the one hand and concepts that can only be obtained through cultural, intellectual and cognitive expansion through the library.


Objectives of the library
1- Supporting the activation of the integrated automated system in the future library www.eulc.edu.eg and its effective and integrated application in all aspects of its work from the administrative, technical and service aspects.
2- Maximizing the digital role of the library to reach the largest number of beneficiaries through the digital resources available from international databases on the Egyptian Knowledge Bank www.EKB.eg
3- Activating the feedback system in measuring the quality of the library's performance of the services provided or the performance of its employees and its material capabilities on a regular basis through performance measurement questionnaires.
4- Holding seminars and workshops to inform students, researchers and teaching staff of all new library services and to sensitize them to the importance of the library and its role in the research service and to identify weaknesses in performance, if any.
5- Providing appropriate human cadres, if not professional, who are trained to implement the previous objectives.
-Supporting the sustainability of the library's information resources and material capabilities on an ongoing basis to provide continuous self-financing.
Library instructions
Library instructions:
1. Please keep the library clean, throw your trash in the trash can, and do not bring any food or drinks into the library.
2. Please leave personal belongings in the designated areas inside the library and the library is not responsible for them.
3. Laptops are allowed to enter the library without a bag, provided that they are used in the scientific field only.
4. Please turn off your cell phone inside the library, observe complete silence, and avoid talking to others inside the library.
5. Please do not enter with notes or books belonging to patrons inside the library.


Electronic services
1- It is possible to search automatically through the portal of the Unified Catalog of Universities at the Library Administration WWW.EULC.EDU.EG on the topics and titles of books in the library using the researcher himself or with the help of the library's information specialist.
2- Familiarize yourself with the digital library services and databases available through it and how to obtain an account number on the Knowledge Bank https://www.ekb.eg/ar
3- The latest books that were recently received by the library can be recognized through the official website of the college through the lists of recent books

Library Services
Selective Information Broadcasting Service (Coming Soon)
It is a service that disseminates accurate scientific content from information sources to the beneficiaries, each according to his exact specialization. It is mostly concerned with graduate students at its two stages (master's, doctorate), as well as researchers and faculty members, and the search within the information sources in the library from physical and digital sources and published research for the exact specialization of the researcher or beneficiary of the service and sending the required parts of the information from the existing books and references taking into account the law of intellectual property protection and sending them to the beneficiary, or through a download of scientific articles and digital books available on Knowledge Bank Al-Ma'rifa. And send them via email to the beneficiary or come directly to the center in the library.
Guidance service
-The beneficiary can access the book or topic to be researched through:
- Searching from the portal of the unified catalog of Egyptian universities on the library devices with the help of the responsible librarian.
-or by going to the department official to help him search inside the library for the book or topic under research through the search words and their determinants, which are analyzed by the library specialist
Current Briefing Service - (Coming Soon)
The target audience is all types of beneficiaries of the library and information center from the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, researchers, and faculty members at the college
It is the permanent and continuous briefing of the subscribers of the service with all new information sources, whether physical or digital, in the field of the general specialization of each beneficiary sent through indirect communication through communication via the library's e-mail or the official WhatsApp group of the library, or a briefing on the beneficiary's private account, or direct attendance at the center inside the library.
External Borrowing Service
To use the External Borrowing Service
provide the following: You must
- Tuition receipt for the current academic year.
- A photograph of the student.
-More than one book cannot be borrowed at a time.
Information Literacy Service - (Coming Soon)
The service is aimed at undergraduate and graduate students, as well as postgraduate students (pre-master's stage), master's and doctoral students.
This service is mainly concerned with the principle of sustainable development of information resources, as well as the beneficiary by educating him on how to invest the time and effort exerted in obtaining information to save it as little as possible and obtain the highest benefit from the information in the shortest possible time.
Training him on how to formulate scientific research in documented scientific methods and how to take into account the protection of intellectual property.
Training him on how to conduct a connected search between different sources of knowledge on his topic, meaning expanding the frameworks of knowledge research between the branches of science related as one entity.
Exams Department Service For the undergraduate and graduate levels
- The availability of previous years' exams in PDF format on the college website, as well as available through the library administration, obtained on flash reader, - and it is also available in its paper form for photography, until the first semester exams for the academic year 2025 for all departments, and the postgraduate exams were recently uploaded during the summer semester of the academic year 2022/2023 in PDF format, obtained on flash reader and available in paper form as well.
Information guidance service for undergraduate students (coming soon)
This service is mainly concerned with the students of the final stage of the bachelor's degree (graduation project), according to what is required from the stages of information gathering and auditing to the initial implementation of the project.
It also qualifies the student on how to search through the information sources available in the library and digital sources and how to obtain them, as well as employ them according to what is related to the project, and that in the first phase will serve students of the departments of architecture, students of the Department of Mechanical Power Engineering and students of the Department of Automotive and Tractor Engineering, and what follows those departments of the college's credit hour programs, then the service will be made available to the remaining departments in the second phase of the project.
The service is activated by registering the student's subscription through a specific data form for that and dealing through the library's e-mail or attending directly to obtain scientific guidance for the project through the scientific research resources available in the library or the digital resources available in the Egyptian Knowledge Bank www.EKB.eg, and training on how to use Google scholar for accurate search for information.
