Evaluation and Measurement Unit
Unit Tasks
The Student Measurement and Evaluation Unit performs the following tasks:
- Ensure that the exams developed are consistent with the university's examination system and meet the necessary standards in coordination with the various academic departments that carry out technical work in this field.
- Issuing statistics and periodic reports on the status of evaluation and measurement in the college.
- Issuing periodic reports on complaints and petitions submitted by students related to assessment and measurement.
- Ensure that the rest of the evaluation and measurement work is carried out according to the scientific principles and regulations.
- Coordinating the creation of question banks for the selected courses, ensuring good management of the creation process and quality control, and cooperating with the competent department of the center to implement this.
- Automated correction.
- Implementing training courses in coordination with the University Center Training Center.
- Spreading the culture of evaluation and measurement at the college.
- Coordination with the quality unit at the college.
- Conducting workshops for faculty members, students and administrators in the ethics of student evaluation.

Unit objectives
Completing the infrastructure and structure of the Measurement and Evaluation Center
performance indicators:
-Training unit to prepare question banks and train experts in all disciplines.
-Video unit to support training and communication.
-Question bank work in different specialties that are reviewed by experts - question banks for unions to support sustainable professional development tests.
-Completing the infrastructure to implement electronic exams (on line) through an electronic network that connects to all Egyptian universities.
-A unit for electronic correction and statistical analysis
-Training laboratories.
Spreading the culture of developing evaluation and examination systems to improve the educational system
performance indicators:
Faculty members who have a culture of developing evaluation systems and have the desire to develop them.
Students have a culture of developing evaluation systems.
Developing the evaluation and examination systems at the college to keep pace with global development:
Performance indicators:
A procedure manual for setting an exam according to the skills code that is characterized by gradualness and neutrality and covers the academic content.
Analyzing, announcing and discussing the results of the evaluation, identifying weaknesses and strengths, and developing a mechanism to benefit from the results of the evaluation analysis in the development of the elements of the educational system and continuous improvement.
Establish a mechanism to follow up on the commitment of those responsible for correcting the exam papers on the specified dates.
Developing a system to follow up the educational process
Performance indicators:
A follow-up system for students (academic counseling, student academic record, student feedback).
A follow-up system for training staff members (teaching performance, research performance, community participation, achievement file).
Formulate ethical rules for evaluators and students and disseminate them to them
performance indicators:
Identify the ethical rules that must be adhered to by evaluators by reviewing the University Organization Law and the guides of the National Commission for Quality Assurance and Accreditation (NCQA).
Studying and analyzing the ethical rules that have been identified and then formulating them
Drafting ethical rules that all evaluators must adhere to
Prepare a manual, brochures and posters with these rules, publish them on the website, and distribute these publications to those concerned.
