General Functions of the Unit
- Establishing mechanisms to follow up on graduates to create a strong and effective relationship between the college and its graduates
- Linking the graduate to the college and the continuous development of his skills to raise his efficiency to meet the needs of the local and regional labor market.
- Helping to find temporary or permanent job opportunities for college graduates in various engineering specialties.
- Develop mechanisms to follow up the status of the college graduates.
- Prepare training programs to qualify graduates and raise the necessary skills for the requirements of the labor market.
- Achieving cooperation between the unit and the industry liaison unit.
- Issuing an annual or semi-annual magazine or publication.
- Inviting graduates in the college's events and various activity programs.
- Holding a day for graduates on an annual basis to connect graduates with the college and each other.

The organizational structure of the Alumni Follow-up Unit is under the administrative umbrella of the Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. The composition of the Board of Directors of the Alumni Follow-up Unit is as follows: The Executive Director of the unit.
- Alumni Association Officer.
- Human Resources Development Officer.
- Recruitment Officer.
- Secretariat of the unit
- 4 distinguished college graduates and industry workers (one for each of the scientific departments of the college).

Administrative director of the unit

General Description:
- This position is located at the top of the administrative functions in the Graduate Follow-up and Rehabilitation Unit.
- The position is specialized in supervising the work of following up and qualifying graduates
- Creating a comprehensive database of graduates and working to link them to their colleges and the university through training courses and continuing education.
- Developing and evaluating the link with the college's expatriate graduates and employing them in supporting the research and financial capabilities of the college
- Holding and following up employment forums in cooperation with the concerned authorities and bodies
- Higher qualification suitable for the type of work.
- Spend an interval of at least 6 years in a job of the immediate lower grade.
- Passing the necessary training provided by the university.
Executive Director of the unit
The Executive Director of the Graduate Follow-up Unit shall be appointed from among the specialized faculty members of the college through advertisement, and the candidate with the highest score shall be selected
The candidate with the highest score according to the announced criteria and after the approval of the Faculty Council for a period of two consecutive renewable years.
- Setting the general policies of the unit to achieve its goals.
- Following up on the unit's various works.
- Coordinating and achieving communication between the unit, businessmen and industry.
- Establishing a coordination and cooperation mechanism between the unit and the industry liaison unit.
- Preparing periodic reports on the work of the unit and presenting them to the Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
- Activating the database of college graduates and making it available for graduates to register their data.
- Building a local and regional database specialized in the needs of the labor market and the opportunities available to graduates.
- Faculty member at the college.
- Holds training courses in human development.
- Courses in using databases and employing them in developing the college's resources and raising the level of the graduate.
- Courses in preparing and analyzing questionnaires.

- Follow up on administrative matters related to the unit.
- Record and organize the minutes of the unit's meetings.
- Writing, sending and organizing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Recording the data of all graduates.
- Coordinating, cataloging and organizing the unit's files.
- Receiving calls and organizing communications for the unit.
- Updating the unit's news on the international information network.
- Prepare a directory of employment agencies that can contribute to the employment of college graduates.
- Preparing publications about available job opportunities for college graduates and advertising them on the unit's website, as well as posting them on the unit's bulletin board inside the college.
