It is one of the units of the Engineering Consulting, Training and Production Center at the Faculty of Engineering - Matareya - Helwan University
Objectives of the unit :
The Consulting and Training Unit aims to provide distinguished technical services to industry and infrastructure projects in the country, as well as holding training courses to raise the efficiency of engineers working in industry.
The unit has the human and equipment capabilities that qualify it to provide consultations, design, research and development, supervise implementation, conduct tests and calibrate devices in the following engineering fields:
-Calibration of measuring devices.
-Rationalization of energy use.
-Environmental analysis studies.
-Air, fuel and gas networks.
-Air conditioning and ventilation - refrigeration and freezing.
-Testing mechanical devices and equipment.
-Automatic, hydraulic and electronic control.
-Design and implementation of alarm and firefighting networks.
-Selection and testing of fans, pumps and controls.
-Thermal power plants (steam and gas), water and wind plants.
-Designing engineering systems to prevent environmental pollution (incinerators, furnaces, boilers).
-Design and implementation of water, sewage, industrial and irrigation networks.
-Power generation units: Turbines - diesel engines - gasoline engines.
