The Rehydro team from Matariya Engineering wins the Climate Leaders Competition.

In a new achievement to be added to the record of Egyptian student creativity, the "Rehydro" team from the Faculty of Engineering at Matariya University achieved a well-deserved victory in the final stage of the second edition of the Climate Leaders Program, during the final evaluation held at the headquarters of the National Council for Women.
The jury included a group of senior officials and experts, headed by Counselor Amal Ammar, Chairperson of the National Council for Women; Dr. Magued Osman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Telecom Egypt and member of the National Council for Women; Representative Ahmed Fathy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Young Leaders Foundation; Engineer Sarah El Batouti, UN Global Ambassador for Climate and Advisor to the Egyptian President for Sustainable Policies; and Ms. Ghada Tawfik, Advisor to the Governor of the Central Bank for Social Responsibility.
Dr. Sayed Kandil, President of Helwan University, expressed his happiness with this achievement, saying, "This victory confirms the excellence of Helwan University students and their ability to compete in national forums. We are proud of our students who are offering innovative solutions to address the environmental challenges facing Egypt and the world."
For his part, Dr. Amr Abdel Hadi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Matariya University, emphasized: "The Rehydro team's victory reflects the outstanding level of engineering education at the college and our students' ability to develop practical solutions to environmental challenges. We will continue to support our students' ideas and innovations that contribute to achieving sustainable development goals."
It's worth noting that the Climate Leaders program is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Social Solidarity, and aims to support youth ideas, projects, and student activities aimed at addressing various environmental issues.
